Bye Bye Baby
One day everything is suddenly different. Yesterday you were the oldest and you understood everything. Today you are the youngest and you don't understand anything anymore.
One day everything is suddenly different. Yesterday you were the oldest and you understood everything. Today you are the youngest and you don't understand anything anymore. You knew this moment would come, but you weren’t expecting this. Even the most normal things are complicated. How should it be done? And why didn't anyone tell you this?
In the last class of primary school, Nastaran was the toughest in school and everyone wanted to be her friend. In the first class of secondary school she transformed into a very shy girl who did not dare to talk to anyone. Her performance Bye Bye Baby is about the major transitions that every person goes through in their lives. Like that big transition from primary school to secondary school.
In Bye Bye Baby two people try to keep their heads above water in a setting full of bizarre obstacles. A physical, humorous and moody performance for the last grades of primary school, for first graders and for anyone going through a big change.
Nastaran Razawi Khorasani on Bye Bye Baby:
“For me it's actually about all the major transitions in a human life. Whether we go to secondary school, graduate or have our first child, we always have to reinvent the wheel.”
Bye Bye Baby premiered on February 1, 2019.
